Farms

Fragapane® has its own olive groves, plum orchards and vineyards with a total planted surface of 750 hectares located in the center-east oasis of the Province of Mendoza, specifically in the departments of Santa Rosa, San Martin, Rivadavia, Junín, Maipú and Guaymallén. It also has olive groves in the province of San Juan.

The Cuyo region is ideal for the production of high quality fruits, thanks to the climate, soil fertility and the quality of the irrigation water, which comes from the thawing of snow in the Andes. Cold winters, hot summers and low rainfall throughout the year are ideal for the cultivation of olive trees, plum trees and vines.

Our olive groves are of Arauco and Manzanilla varieties.

In the case of plum orchards, they are implanted with Prunus domestica.

The vineyards are composed by different varietals for winemaking: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, Syrah, Tempranillo; also there are vine plantations of Arisul 351, Sultanina and Flame varieties for dehydration.

To get the best of our crops, we have drip irrigation systems and traditional irrigation, depending on soil type and location area. Farming practices are compatible with the development of organic agriculture.
